Museum National D'histoire Naturelle

Everywhere you turn in France  you might find a museum featuring anything you can imagine, name it you will find it , well among the museum we  have visited so far, we went to the Museum National d'histoire Naturelle, Grande galerie d'evolution , it is a very interesting place, first you have to cross a beautiful Botanical  garden, called "le jardin des plantes " that is open to the public and is a part of the museum itself.

A different kind of museum, Both a scientific establishment and a public service, applying itself to research and the dissemination of knowledge, the Museum has five main founding objectives which govern and nourish all of its activities.

• Fundamental and applied research
• The collections, archives of the planet 
• Education and pedagogy 
• Dissemination
• Assessments 

  There is so much things to see and learn, it is specially an interesting place for kids, you can see a wide range of animals, a big collection of different kind of butterflies for the butterfly lovers, lots of reading palettes, and video documentaries in each and every level of the museums .
 The Museum National d'histoire Naturelle, is used also as a training center,Higher education and training are among the museum's basic missions. Museology is one of the specialisms taught to students in the context of the Muséum's "Evolution, natural heritage and societies" Master's programme. In regard to continuing education, the Muséum focuses mainly on naturalist courses, particularly for primary and secondary school teachers (~ 3,000 teachers per academic year) as well as a wider amateur public. It also provides continuing education in museology for people working in Paris's scientific museums (Palais de la Découverte, Musée du Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, Musée du Quai Branly).

The Ground floor is all about the sea life, you can see all king of fishes, sometimes featuring dummy  fishes also, as we noticed it is more about telling the story of the life in the sea

The first floor  represents, the animals in the wild  and a documentary about how they used to travel and survive in the nature

 The 3nd  floor, we found a wide range of insects, lots of colored butterfly, which i really enjoyed
